This publication invites readers into the world of the Celts in the territory of today’s Chrudim and Pardubice regions. In an accessible way, it explores their culture, way of life, and the significance of archaeological finds, with particular attention to the only East Bohemian oppidum — České Lhotice.
The book is aimed primarily at primary and secondary school pupils, but will interest anyone who wants to learn more about the Celts. The text is complemented by colour illustrations by Petr Novák, and each chapter is followed by questions and activities. A glossary and reading suggestions are also included.
