Boii association relies on volunteers and the support of people who believe in us. There are many ways to contribute — financial donation, sponsorship, building materials (wood, stone, …), work or services via barter, participation in work parties, or other forms of volunteering. Visiting the Země Keltů open-air museum is also a form of support.

We’re happy to make use of building and craft materials for developing the Země Keltů open-air museum — wood, stone, gravel, but also old tools or craft antiques that would otherwise end up in a landfill.
If you have something at home or at your cottage that might be useful to us, write to us at boii@boii.cz — we’re happy to come pick it up or arrange a handover.
Throughout the year we regularly organise volunteer work parties at the Země Keltů site. We help with site maintenance, building new structures, repairs, tending greenery, and preparing educational and cultural programmes, including the international Lughnasad festival.
Work parties are open to newcomers and experienced volunteers alike. Besides the work itself, they’re a chance to meet new people, learn traditional crafts, and become part of a community pulling together.
Volunteers get meals and accommodation during the work party, and it usually includes an evening get-together by the fire, playing music, or board games. The amount of work is roughly 8 to 12 hours over a Saturday and Sunday, depending on weather and the nature of the tasks.
