Honorary Member of the Association
Petr Pithart is a founding member of the Boii association and, as such, became our patron. He strongly supported the idea of creating a Celtic village in Nasavrky.
He secured sponsors for the association’s activities and himself contributed significantly to its work from his own private resources. He arranged and organized the successful and inspiring visit to Nasavrky of the Sorbonne Celtic scholar Prof. Venceslav Kruta. As his active political career came to an end, he passed the mantle of patron of the Celts to Senator Ing. Petr Šilar.

Petr Šilar took over the role of chief patron of the Nasavrky Celts from Petr Pithart. At the start of their cooperation, the association — faced with halted construction, a lack of money, and very few partners — was practically a few steps from collapse. Petr became an invaluable support.
He took part in numerous difficult negotiations and became an ambassador for the Celts in places that would not have engaged with us without his patronage. He secured extensive material and financial support for the open-air museum project and became one of the key driving forces behind the successful completion of the first construction phase and the opening of the museum in 2015–2017.

Emeritus Chairman of Boii, z.s.
A Nasavrky native, entrepreneur and university lecturer, he is one of the most significant figures in the history of the Boii association and the Země Keltů project. He joined the association as a secondary school student shortly after its founding and gradually took over leadership of its most important projects.
Over his twelve years at the helm of the association, he devoted extraordinary effort above all to realising the Celtic open-air museum project. Despite numerous obstacles and difficult periods, his determination, energy and perseverance kept the project alive and carried it through to successful completion. It could be said, with only slight exaggeration, that without his work the open-air museum would probably not exist in the form we know it today.
He remains an active member of the association, contributing to the development of Země Keltů and supporting the project’s future direction with his experience.

Milan Chvojka is the mayor of the town of Nasavrky and, in that role, has been the association’s main partner on behalf of the town ever since Boii was founded in 2002. As mayor, he actively supported the association’s activities and was present at the birth of the educational trail, the exhibition at the chateau, and the gradual growth of the Lughnasad festival.
In 2009–2010 he worked to have the town’s land made available to the association for building the open-air museum. During the difficult years of 2011–2015, he sought ways, on behalf of the entire local government, to support the construction project, and thanks in part to his active approach, a way was found by the end of that period to complete at least the first phase and open the museum to visitors. He remains supportive of the development of Celtic activities.
