Who is the data controller

What data we process

Donation form

On the Support Us page you can fill in a form to request a donation receipt or a formal donation agreement. We process the following data: your name or organisation name, address, email, donation amount, and any note you provide.

• Purpose: processing your request and issuing a donation document for tax purposes.
• Legal basis: dealing with your request and compliance with our legal obligation to keep accounting and tax records.
• Retention period: for as long as necessary to process your request, then for the period required by law for archiving accounting records (typically 10 years from the end of the relevant accounting period).
• Recipients: the form is technically processed by our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc.; we do not share your data with anyone else unless required by law.

We publish a donor’s name in the association’s materials only if you gave consent by checking the relevant box in the form.

Google Analytics 4

The website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic. This service only runs if you give consent via the cookie banner. The processor is Google Ireland Limited; IP addresses are anonymised before processing. You can withdraw or give consent again at any time using the “Cookie settings” button in the footer — your choice is stored only in your browser, and no analytics cookies are set until you consent.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict its processing, request data portability, and object to processing. Submit requests to boii@boii.cz. If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection.
