About
Boii, z.s. is an association dedicated to preserving and developing Celtic cultural heritage. Through the reconstruction of a Celtic oppidum, educational programs, and cultural events, it brings the life and traditions of the Celts closer to the public. It applies principles of experimental archaeology, supports volunteer involvement, and creates a space for both experts and the wider public to meet. The association is based in Nasavrky.
Purpose
Our mission is to preserve and develop Celtic cultural heritage and to inspire society to explore the past and the landscape through education, experiences, and expert activity. We create space for volunteer involvement and contribute to the development of civil society that values its historical roots and natural wealth.
Mission
We are building an authentic reconstruction of a Celtic oppidum and using a combination of experimental archaeology, educational programmes, and cultural events to spread knowledge of Celtic culture. We are building a community of volunteers with an interest in history and a sustainable relationship with nature. We create space for experts and the public to meet and support an active civil society.
Vision
To become a significant and respected centre for knowledge of Celtic culture in Central Europe with an international reach. To build a living reconstruction of a Late Iron Age settlement and cultivate the surrounding landscape in a sustainable way that respects historical practices and inspires and connects local residents, the wider public, and experts.

Boii, z. s. has been built, since its founding, on people who selflessly devote their time, energy, and skills to a shared goal — bringing the life of our ancestors closer to the public through the unique Země Keltů open-air museum and other educational activities. It was volunteers who, more than fifteen years ago, helped build the museum’s first structures, and their work remains an integral part of it to this day.
There are several ways to get involved. You can join one of our volunteer work parties, help organise the Lughnasad festival, or simply write to us — we’ll be happy to find a way for you to become part of our team.
Volunteering with us takes many forms. It doesn’t matter how old you are or what experience you have. There’s room for skilled hands working with wood, organisational talent at events, behind-the-scenes support, photography, and simply a willingness to help wherever it’s needed. Everyone can contribute their own abilities and become part of a community that builds and develops Země Keltů together.
